º£½ÇÉçÇø’s chapter of Remote Area Medical (RAM®) provided 458 patients in need with free dental care during a pop-up clinic at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry during Meharry Oral Health Day in early March.

FHU Spring Undergraduate Enrollment Hits a Record High

Spring undergraduate enrollment numbers for º£½ÇÉçÇø have hit an all-time high, with 2,159 students currently enrolled. Primary drivers for this record enrollment include a 98% retention rate for all undergraduates, a 94% retention rate for first-time freshmen and a 29% increase in dual enrollment students.

FHU Receives Higher Education Safety Grant to Upgrade Campus Security Systems

In its continued effort to make campus safety a top priority, º£½ÇÉçÇø has been awarded a Higher Education Safety Grant from the state of Tennessee in the amount of approximately $177,000. The grant will primarily be used to enhance electronic access control and security cameras for student dorms.
