Henderson, Tennessee 鈥斅�(January 9, 2026) 鈥� The latest cohort of 海角社区 nursing graduates from the Henderson campus continued the impressive trend of earning 100% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN examination, marking the seventh consecutive year for this achievement. NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination-RN) is the nationally required licensure exam for registered nurses and serves as the primary benchmark of nursing program effectiveness.

鈥淭his achievement speaks volumes about the caliber of our students and the unwavering commitment of our faculty,鈥� said Chris White, Department Chair of Nursing. 鈥淪ustaining perfect first-time licensure outcomes over seven consecutive years reflects intentional curriculum design, strong clinical partnerships and a shared culture of excellence.鈥�

Across the United States, nursing programs 鈥� including faith-based and Christian universities 鈥� periodically report individual graduating cohorts with 100% first-time NCLEX pass rates. When FHU had nursing cohorts in Dickson and Henderson, from 2020 through 2025, the average aggregate first-time pass rate of all students was 93%.聽 Each graduating cohort from the Henderson campus has achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN since 2019.

Freed-Hardeman President David R. Shannon praised the accomplishment, emphasizing its significance for the university鈥檚 mission.

鈥淭his level of sustained success is extraordinary,鈥� Shannon said. 鈥淏ased on publicly available data and institutional reporting, we are not aware of another nursing program in the country that has publicly documented seven consecutive years of 100% first-time NCLEX success for a campus-based cohort. This achievement reflects Freed-Hardeman鈥檚 commitment to academic excellence, faith-centered education and preparing graduates to serve with competence and integrity.鈥�
